photo walks & workshops
New for 2026! Together with Italian photographer, Luca Primavesi, we offer exclusive and personalised photo walks and tutorials through the streets of Venice. Not only can we show you the classic sites, but also areas off the beaten track where we personally shoot many of images of the city. We can instruct you on techniques for getting unforgettable black and white (and colour!) images, whatever your level of expertise, whether you are using an iPhone, compact camera, top-of-the-range mirrorless or trusty DSLR. Following routes designed for you, we can help make your trip to Venice one to remember!
Instruction and guidance will be given principally in the following areas:

'Classic' documentary-style street photography, capturing the everyday

High contrast (light/shade) street photography focusing on geometry and forms

Long exposure, fine-art style photography focusing on composition and movement

Abstraction and the use of reflections to find something a bit different.
But if you have any other specific requests, we are happy to hear from you. The experience is designed for you, around your needs, for individuals, couples or small groups up to six people, and can be anything from 2 hours up to a full day, with coffee, food and aperitivo options.
